• TF 2163 is a switched attenuator having a range of 142 dB in 1 dB steps with a frequency range from DC to 1 GHz.The unit consists of switched networks in two cascades, giving steps of 20 and 1 dB. The components are well shielded, both from each other and from external fields, and a feature is the low v.w.s.r of the system which is 1.5:1 at 1GHz. Input and output impedances are 50 Ohm unbalanced. TF 2163S(CT.553) is a Services version of the attenuator. It differs in having a front panel lid equipped to stow a coaxial fuse unit, spare fuses and two type N to BNC adapters.
