  • This is a Marconi Spark Key like David Sarnoff used at Siasconset on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts, in 1908 when he was a young 17-year-old Marconi Wireless station operator. Note that David Sarnoff’s original spark key of this type is on display in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington DC. The key was used for keying a wireless telegraph spark transmitter on and off.
