  • This type describes the McKay Dymek DA 9, shielded AM ferrite rod directional AM antenna with frequency and sensitivity controls (the four digit type suffixes are the serial number!);

    Set consists of the base unit DA 9 with controls, and on top dockable

    DW 1 non-directional vertical antenna rod for SW, tunable .20 to 30 MHz

    and various directional antenna elements:

    DL1 for ELF - Extremely Long Waves: 18 - 55 kHz,
    DL2 for VLF - Very Long Waves: 50 - 150 kHz,
    DL3 for LF - Long Wave Loop: 150 - 530 kHz with narrow/wide switch,
    & DL4 for MF - Medium Waves: 530 - 1,900 kHz,

    20 dB gain at ~50 - 2,000 kHz, BNC terminals, 4 W power consumption, made in USA.
