  • Portable record player for micro disk records as issued by the National Audubon Society (bird song guides). The micro disk records are mounted on a cassette-like box which is inserted into the player and get centered by a retractable guide pin. The pickup system rotates on a disk within the device while the cassette remains stationary. The same technique was used in Fisher Price "Talk to me books".
