  • The Model TBY-8 is a VHF, modulated oscillator transmitter and super regenerative receiver providing two-way communications by either voice or MCW telegraphy. It has 131 channels in four bands with a frequency range of 28 to 80 MHz.

    It is battery powered and is designed to be carried as a back-pack load and can be operated by one person.

    Transmitter output power is 0.5 W.
