  • As can be seen on the rear of a set, "the Rondeau" was made as model 1258 in red, as model 1259 in white and as model 1281 in ebony (black), but the SAMS Photofact set 264, folder 11 from January 1955 shows also a model 1266 in green.

    Cabinet and chassis are otherwise the same. Be careful when removing the backing cardboard: there are two wooden dowels that rest between the chassis & the backing. They each fit in the little channel where the plastic makes a foot on each side - and can get lost easily.
