  • Notes
  • This is only a vague information - what we can see from "Ward's Little Catalogue Mid-Summer 1931": "Prices Cut!" to $ 37.95 (662 Y 626-) cash price or $ 2.50 down and $ 3.50 a month (41.95). This Airline Cathedral comes with "the mighty - new Pentode super power tube (Triple Screen Grid)". Followed by a statement "Complete, including three super-sensitive Screen Grid tubes - with 5 to 7 times the power of ordinary tubes - a mighty, new Pentode Power Tube", type 280 rectifier. Walnut case with 3 knobs.

We presume the set uses two tetrodes and one pentode like the 47, the 280 and one triode like the 27.
