The FM64A from Thorn has been specifically created to provide all the features you want in a quality FM-AM stereo receiver, all in one attractive, simple-to-use, and extremely versatile home audio control centre. Here are some of the outstanding features of the Thorn FM64A.

High-Fidelity FM Stereo Tuner. The FM front-end features a FET and a 3-gang tuning capacitor for supersensitive, highly selective FM stereo performance. The advanced FM IF amplifier has two dual-resonator mechanical filters. FM muting switch, signal-strength, and centre-tune meters, built-in local FM aerial (switched), stereo mono automatic switchover, and many other quality FM tuner features are included.

Clean-Power OCL Amplifier. The advanced all-stage direct-coupled OCL pure complementary amplifier in the FM64A delivers 32 watts per channel of RMS continuous power at 1kHz into 4 ohms, or 25 watts per channel into 8 ohms over the 20-20,000Hz range at less than 0.8% total harmonic distortion. Special, quick-acting fuses protect the important power transistors and your valuable speakers.

S.E.A. Tone Control System. This patented S.E.A. (Sound Effect Amplifier) Tone Control System uses ICs and other advanced circuits to allow you to instantly customize your listening room acoustics by adjusting the five individual controls covering the entire audio spectrum.
