3 Valve Long Distance Receiver in Oak Cabinet
The receiver's full operational spectrum spanned 250 to 2000 Metres (150 – 1200 kHz).
- Tuning Coils: The system incorporated six interchangeable plug-in coils to broadly select the desired frequency band.
- HF Transformers: Fine-tuning and efficiency were optimised across specific segments by employing a selection of different High-Frequency transformers, specifically wound for the 300m (1000 kHz), 600m (500 kHz), and 1250m (240 kHz) bands.

The RRA is especially suitable for long-distance reception; its arrangement of radio-frequency tuning is ideal for clear results.
On good aerials, the Eastern stations will come in well on Headphones. For long-distance loudspeaker reception, the 5-valve Combination Cabinet type RRD AA is recommended.
