  • The Murdock No. 343 Receiving transformer is a modification of the Murdock No. 341 Receiving Transformer. Construction is simplified to lower the cost of the instrument. The primary is wound with No. 20 bare copper wire spaced on a hard rubber composition tube 4 inches in diameter. The secondary is wound with silk covered wire, spaced on a hard rubber composition tube. With an antennae 66 feet long this transformer will tune up to 1500 meters.
