Micropocessor based instrument which is used in conjunction with NARDA 8600/8700 series Radiation Monitors (i.e. model 8616, see  ID 189285); the module adds time and spatial averaging capabilities to the radiation monitors as recommended in the ANSI and International Standards; Power Densities are averaged either for a fixed time period or for a user controlled time frame; reading are in percent of full scale of radiation monitor; Fixed Time mode 1 or 6 minutes; separate Start/Stop switch module; Start Stop of averaging cycle user controlled from 5 seconds to 6 minutes; fixed time averaging preset 1 or 6 minutes single/continuous; time LCD display; internal battery Alkaline 9V block-one; use 3.5mm mono jack connector to connect at "Recorder" output of radiation monitor
