Das Gerät hat einen Frequenzgang bei Verwendung von FeO-Cassetten: 35Hz - 12kHz, bei CrO2-Cassetten: 35Hz - 15kHz.
Es verfügt über Dolby B, Permalloy Köpfe, mech. Bandlaufkontrolle und Stabilisierung sowie ein 500Hz-Signal zum Einmessen.
Eingebaut ist es in einem polierten Teak-Gehäuse.
Solche Geräte verwendeten laut Auskunft eines Toningenieurs beim Rundfunk auch Sender, um damit Material, daß nur auf Cassette vorlag, umzuschneiden.
