    Play standard cassette tapes monophonically, through your AM car radio. Attach under dash and connect to car radio with simple plug-installation. Features IC circuitry, fast forward and easy slot-load for one-hand operation. Mounting bracket. 12 VDC neg. grd.

    The converter is connected in series with the car antenna and the car radio. When a cassette tape is inserted and played, the tape audio output is used to AM modulate a fixed (quiet) frequency that the car radio is tuned to. Usually, the converter will have a tuning slug or similar device to adjust the broadcast frequency to a quiet spot.
