  • The Olympic Model 808 has the following features:

    • Battery operated transistorized portable AM receiver.
    • Vernier 2-gang tuning capacitor.
    • Eliptical PM speaker is 4" × 6".
    • Earphone jack disconnects speaker.
    • Plastic carry handle.
    • Weight listed includes six C batteries.
    • Both PNP CK879 transistors wired as diodes (B-C shorted). First one is to clamp a possible AGC overload condition, second one is the Detector.

    Produced also with the Fleetwood and probably Truetone brands.
