    Lightweight, portable, two-speed battery-operated, six transistor tape recorder in a plastic cabinet with carrying strap.

    Features: low power consumption and instant operation; rated power output of maximum 700 mW, the tone control giving excellent, noise-free recording and playback. Recording can be monitored through built-in speaker while it is being made. Recording can be made for up to 1½ hours on 3¾ ips, or 3 hours on 1⅞ ips. Accurate, uniform speed due to "capstan drive" system. The microphone features a remote control switch.

    Specifications: frequency response: 100-7000 C/s (Hz) at 3¾ ips and 100-4000 C/s at 1⅞ ips. Power source: 6 x UM-1 National batteries. Recording system: AC bias, erasing system, DC.
