  • The Panasonic RF-800U is a DC/battery operated portable AM, FM and SW receiver.

    Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:
    AM Band............520 - 1610 kHz
    FM Band............87.5 - 108.0 MHz
    SW1 Band.........2.3 - 7.9 MHz
    SW2 Band.........7.0 - 22.0 MHz

    Operates from Qty(4) "D" size 1.5V batteries or has power jack for using a 6VDC, 1.2A external power source.  Has USB port that allows playback of MP3 files and an audio input port (called the "Music Port").  Also has earphone jack that disconnects the speaker for private listening.  Uses internal 12cm ferrite rod antenna for AM and SW1 bands, and a 81cm whip antenna for FM, SW1 and SW2 bands. Cabinet is wood with plastic front and rear.
