• This is a 7‑valve, 32‑volt DC farm radio manufactured in Canada for Delco Radio (United Motors Service Inc.), with production contracted to Philco Products Ltd., Toronto. Designed for rural areas not yet connected to the mains, the set operates directly from a 32‑volt DC farm lighting plant, a system widely used on Canadian farms from the 1920s to the 1950s.

  The chassis follows typical Delco practice for farm sets: high‑efficiency valves, transformerless DC operation, and a vibrator‑less power supply suited to battery‑charging plants such as Delco‑Light, Wincharger, and other 32‑V systems.
