  • The Philco E-670 is an AC/DC/Battery operated 4 tube portable BC band receiver.  Has selenium rectifier.  Power consumption 15 watts.

    The part number inside the radio is listed as "E-670-124", with 124 indicating the code number of the chassis.

    Philco used the same chassis in 4 different models that had different cabinets and different cabinet colors (See table below), with Beitmans, SAMS and the Philco datasheet containing all 4 models.  The Philco datasheet shows the 4 different cabinets.  There are also differences between the models with the handles and knobs. See also the later F-Models.
