  • The Philco model M-40A is a four speed automatic record changer. This record changer is designed to play 7", 10" and 12" records at 78, 33-1/3, 45 and 16 RPM. This record changer is similar to model M-40 except for the drive motor and cartridge. The motor is designed for 90V, 60 cycle AC only. The 90V motor is connected in series with the filament of a 25V tube (usually a 25L6).
