    A seven transistor, two diode B/C portable radio housed in genuine cabinet in olive green or saddle tan with gold die-cast front or charcoal with chrome front.

    Features long linear dial with pushbutton dial light, all Australian stations clearly shown. Exclusive "Signalmaster" tuning and battery drain indicator. Vented cabinet for "all round" sound. Tuned RF stage with three gang tuning condenser. Connection for car, or external aerial and earth.

    Technical data: tuning range 525-1620 kC/s (kHz). Speaker, high efficiency 6" x 4" (MSP Type 50021/64OA/15). Output 850 mW measured in voice coil at 400 kC/s (kHz). Battery, Eveready Energizer Type 2761.

    Can be operated from AC supply using Philips AC Power Pack.

    The model was updated with a different line of transistors (and other changes) as Signalmaster PL1 /01.
