    We know of a buy from September 6, 1988 from Migros in Davos, Switzerland, but we don't know if that was the first year on market and how many years it was on the market. The box states "Made in Malaisia" and is of black and dark blue with a picture with the Philips D 1442 Portable Radio on the cardboard box but Philips D 1442 Poket Radio on the photographed set.
