    A completely self-contained four track three speed tape recorder for stereo and monaural recording and playback in a cabinet finished with blue-grey with gold piping and pale blue-gold grille.

    Features: Four track reel to reel system. Track sequence monaural record and playback is 1-4-3-2 and for stereo record and playback Is 1-3-4-2. Monaural playing times with 2400 ft of double-play tape are 16 hours at 1⅞" per second, 8 hours at 3¾" per second, 4 hours at 7½" per second. Stereo playing times are half the monaural times at the various speeds.

    Frequency response is 50 - 20,000 C/s (Hz) at 7½" per second, 50 - 15,000 C/s (Hz) at 3¾" per second, 50 - 7,000 C/s (Hz) at 1⅞' per second. Signal to noise ratio better than 40 db. Wow and flutter less than ± 3% peak to peak,

    Maximum reel size 7". Piano-key push button controls. Mixing facilities with separate volume controls for each Input. Trick-switch for dubbing and su perim posing. Four digital program indicator. Pause button with interlock factlity. Fast wind and rewind with friction braking 600 ft per minute in either direction, Public address facility for microphone, gram or radio input.     Stereo recording: simple stereo switch. Stereo mixing facility and monitoring through stereo headphones. Electronic "magic eye" recording level indicator automatically shows highest modulated channel. Stereo microphone type EL3752 is dual unit containing two cardioid dynamic elements placed at right angles and housed in a single case, Frequency range smooth from 60 - 20,000 C/s (Hz).

    Stereo playback: left channel speaker, 6" x 4" elliptical, in recorder. Right channel speaker 6½" diameter, in lid. Connecting lead supplied. Separate tone controls supplied for each channel. Tone controls can be friction-locked to form one variable control for both channels. Switch provided for disconnecting internal speaker. Output sockets provided for connection to external amplifiers and extension loudspeaker. For simplicity of operation, all stereo gain controls are automatically coupled.

    Supplied complete with stereophonic moving coll microphone and base, 7" reel of long play tape, 7" empty spool and screened connecting cable. (MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
