  • Philips Model 425 "Transworld" Transistor Portable

    An imported all-wave 7-transistor and 2-diode portable radio housed in a tan leatherette covered wooden cabinet with light olive and gold trim.

    Features: two aerials (one Ferrite and one tilting loop), large fully calibrated straight line dial, push buttons controlling on/off, wave ranges, tone, and dial illumination, frequency coverage in four wave bands from B/C to 13 metres. High sensitivity and selectivity, tuned RF stage, 1 full watt of power output, high efficiency, high impedance (25Ω) loudspeaker. Operates for approximately 200 hours on six torch (D) cells. Connection for car aerial. Controls seven push buttons, tuning and volume.
