Philips model PP1;

Aluminium speaker grill, gold-effect chrome plated cast metal cabinet front, leather covered plastic cabinet back. Rola 3C speaker. "Miniwatt" transistors and diode. Battery type Eveready 2364. Made by Philips Australia.

The gold knob to the right of the dial aperture rotates one of three scales into place behind the plastic window, enabling stations in six Australian States to be displayed.

Case colours: Grey,Green, Blue, Red & Pigskin.

This model is similar to the PP1 /01, except using different transistors.
