  • Notes
  • A hi-fi stereo power amplifier housed in a metal case with wooden side panels with continuous average power output of 2 x 200 watts into 8 ohms. Partner to the Pioneer C-90 Reference Control Amplifier. With Pioneer's "Non-switching" type II circuit for the power output stage. The power supply features two outsize transformers, large electrolytic capacitors (total capacitance of 48,000µF) and four bridged rectifier circuits with fast-recovery diodes. In the power amplifier, 16 high-power transistors (8 per channel) are used in a "four-in-parallel" configuration.
