  • Notes
  • The Pye G/DC chassis is a series-string 3-tube regenerative receiver designed for use on DC mains supplies.

The band switch has three settings, Long - Gram - Med.  Band coverage is LW: 800-2000m (150-375 kHz) and BC: 200-520m (575-1500 kHz).  The center setting selects the gramophone input.

Model G/RG/DC is a Radiogram console including a Garrard 78 rpm gramophone with a universal DC motor and mechanical speed adjustment.

An optional power conversion unit using a metal oxide rectifier allowed using the G/DC on AC mains.  Presence of the conversion unit makes the G/RG/DC an AC-DC set that may be used with 50-60 Hz AC power sources or DC power sources.
