Advertised in Popular Wireless Weekly (1 Nov 1924), it was described as “a new Radiax production, designed and built on entirely new principles… the result of much experiment and test.” The set was intended to deliver the maximum sensitivity and power obtainable from a crystal receiver, using the firm’s own Apex Super Crystal with silver spear‑point cat’s‑whisker detector.
