A Radio Shack Breakthrough! Unique AM/FM Stereo Superior to Anything in Its Price Range!

  • Equalization Switch for the Latest “Mini” Hi-Fi Speakers

  • Magnetic Phono and AUX Inputs

  • Tape Monitor

  • Loudness

Realistic STA-7. Radio Shack introduces a new concept in high-fidelity sound - a receiver that performs like conventional models, yet is very unconventional in size and price! It's made possible by our new equalization circuitry engineered for optimum results with ultra-compact “mini” speaker systems. The circuit uses both voltage and current negative feedback to tailor the low-end response for amazing 50 Hz bass that, until now, could not be achieved with mini-sized speakers. There's also a blackout dial, lighted signal strength meter, FM stereo indicator, plus push buttons for on/off, A/B speaker selection, stereo/mono. Bass, treble and center-detent balance controls. Phono-type and screw speaker terminals. 75 and 300-olm FM inputs. EQ circuit can be switched out for flat response for full-size speaker systems, too. Overload protected. U.L. Listed.

10 watts per Channel minimum RMS at 8 ohms from 20-20000 Hertz with no more than 0.5% total harmonic distortion
