Rapar Multi‑Tester YT‑68A

Compact pocket‑sized analogue multimeter marketed under the Rapar brand of Radio Parts Pty. Ltd., Melbourne. The YT‑68A was promoted as a low‑cost, general‑purpose tester suitable for hobbyists, service technicians, and amateur radio operators. Its rear‑mounted magnet was a notable convenience feature, allowing the meter to be fixed to metal cabinets or chassis during servicing. Sold complete with test leads and a fitted case.

This model is one of the earliest documented Rapar‑branded instruments, appearing in Amateur Radio magazine in December 1968, during the period when Radio Parts was expanding its in‑house Rapar line of test equipment and audio products.
