  • The RCA 45-EY-26 is an AC operated 3 tube 45 RPM record player with automatic record changer.  It was designed for use by children, with an ivory painted bakelite cabinet with Disney decals.  Uses elliptical PM 4" x 6" speaker and RP 190A-2 record changer. Record capacity was up to 14 records. Uses a crystal pickup.  This is the late production version which uses the RS-138M chassis (has different tubes compared to the earlier RS-138L chassis).

The 45-EY-26 was available with the following chassis:

    Model Chassis Tubes Production
    45-EY-26 RS-138L 12SQ7, 50L6GT, 35W4 Early
    45-EY-26 RS-138M 12AV6, 50C5, 35W4 Late
