    The Socket Power Unit (SPU) AP-772, located in the bottom shelf of the cabinet (below the receiver), converted AC power to all voltages required for the receiver and speaker field. Two power versions were available, one operating from 50-60 Cycle AC and the other operating from 25-40 Cycle AC, the only difference being the power transformer. There was a 110V/120V toggle switch for AC selection (selects different taps on the power transformer primary).
