Probably 6 x Zinc Carbon "D" Cells for LT with a tap for 7.5V at the 5th.

4 stacks of 15 x Layer cells / biscuits for the 90V HT

Designed for 50mA Series Filaments. Note that some sets take up to 70mA due to HT current flowing in LT as well as parallel resistors to equalise filament voltages.

Many USA sets use this (about 120+ hours), the UK Pye PE94MBQ and PE94MBQ/LW also use it. Typically Mains / battery sets with a DF91 RF preamp.
