Dear Members: First of all receive all of you my best greetings. I need to replace an audio interstage transformer (completely cutted)of my old radio RCA Radiola RCA RE-45. The transformer couples the 27 tube (detector) with the 26 tube. On its primary receives the radio or pickup signal using a switch. The measured the impedance of the pickup. Is 17 ohm (at 1 Khz) (magnetic horseshoe pickup type). I checked the pickup and looks good. It has the rubber parts flexible, the coil is ok, the magnet is strong and the needle has good movement. The radio part is working great. I tested the radio part using other transformer that only has one primary. That is to say, I need to couple the pickup part and my apparatus will become completely to the life. I will really appreciate your help in order to have the specifications to build the transformer (there are some specialized places in my city but they need the indications, diameter of wire, number of wounds, core size, etc.). By the way, the size of core of the original transformer (cutted)is: 7,4 x 5,1 x 1,8 cm. The coil window is 1,8 x 1,8 cm.The diameter of wire is 0,07 mm. I am enclosing the radio schematic diagram. Sincerely yours, José Bustos CHILE
