    The "host" Radio set's detector triode valve is unplugged and the adaptor is plugged in. The Triode can then be used in the adaptor.

    Waveband is 15 to 35m or 30 to 80m depending on coil unit wired in (not plug-in). The "aerial" tuning would certainly need a long wire (more than 1/4 wavelength) for reasonable operation.

    Ebonite panel and wooden baseboard construction (wooden case or cabinet always an option, Ready Radio supplied at least one box type cabinet).
