  • Record made a limited number of their hand crank MegOhms insulation and resistance testers with a built in AC powered 500V DC generator. The intrument was built into a wooden instrument case for portablity and protection. The product was offered in the final years, 1959-64 of the Record Electrical Co Ltd as a subsidiary of the George Kent Group in UK.

    The photos depict the meter panel and case in fully restored condition, the interior photos depict the simple circuitry in its original state after more than 50 years in service.
