  • Th model Thorola Islodyne was also announced in the amateur radio magazine "QST" September 1925 (page 83) where it shows two different Thorola cabinets: "In smart Thorocco Cabinet" - this Thorola Islodyne was sold for $ 85 whereas the one "In stunning Burled Walnut Cabinet with Circassian top" was offered for $ 115. Three dials (primary tuning control knobs). This model here is the Walnut cabinet.
