  • Notes
  • The 6-tube Majestic Montcalm design includes an RF amp and two-stage IF amp with variable IF bandwidth control.  The 5 knobs control coarse tuning (top outer) and vernier tuning (top inner), bandswitch (bottom left), a multifunction knob incorporating On/off - Variable IF - Tone (bottom center), and volume (bottom right). There is a tuning indicator mechanism which uses a 24V dial lamp that is bright while tuning between stations, and then dims at sharpest tuning.  The 3 bands are BC (530-1700 kHz), Police (1.7-5.4 MHz), and SW (5-19 MHz).  The chassis has connections for balanced and unbalanced antennas.

Rogers 10-65 and 10-66 are electronically identical to this set.
