  • This model features 'Automatic Radio' tuning.  This is a large metal dial with preset stations which the user turns with wrist action.  It is not quite the same as a teledial which has preset buttons that get pushed in and the user then turns the dial as with a rotary telephone.

    The RT_neon is a voltage regulator tube. The 6X6 is a tuning indicator tube. The fourth 6K7M and second 86M tubes are used as phase inverters. The Majestic 7146 and De Forest Superior are nearly electronically identical to this set.
