  • Wobbulator for r.f. alignment of vhf television sets.  Comprises a signal generator with slow frequency modulation, by a motorised variable capacitor, and an oscilloscope.

    Wavebands: 1. 40-50MHz, 2. 45-55MHz, 3. 50-60MHz, 4. 55-65MHz, 5. 57-73MHz, 6. 31-40MHz.

    On front: controls for brilliance, focus, and astig. of the 6 inch, 150mm, c.r.t.  X-shift, Y-shift, Y-gain, sound, cal gain, sweep, mains switch, motor switch, Y-clamp switch, sound Y-input 1 or 10, and + or -, switches.  Rotary switch for sweep: off, 5MHz, 1MHz, 500kHz, BREMA.  Set carrier control, with carrier level shown on a Sifam 100uA 100mV moving coil meter.  Attenuator: variable 0-10, switched: x1, x10, x100uV, x1, x10mV, full r.f.   Sockets for vision Y-input, r.f. output.

    On right side: sockets for band III adaptor, controls for f-zero, x-shift, and sweep.

    On left side: waveband switch.

    On back: mains socket.

    Motor: Klaxon synchronous induction type EM5YB1, 1/200hp, 230v, 1500rpm, 50Hz.
