  • Some of this sets have 224 translator and 57 detector, others have 57 translator and 224 detector. The models 1580, 1582 and 1584 share the same chassis / schematic. The models have a three gang tuning condenser and a separate oszillator (56). According to Rider's Sears page 3-2 and 3-3, the mixer and the 2nd detector / first AF amplifier can be a 57 or a 24. The chassis work with 25 to 60 cycles AC.
