- Notes
- Sears Roebuck & Co. sold models branded Silvertone - but also other makes and other brands. For the model 4584, a very small console radio, we have two informations: one says Broadcast plus two Short Wave bands but the other source is giving Long Waves, Broadcast and Short Waves. We are not yet sure if this is a mistake or if there are different chassis possible - e.g. between revisions.
What we do know from the owner Bryan Williams is that his set receives A (American) 545 to 1750 kc, P (Police) 2.2 to 6.5 mc and F (Foreign) 6.2 to 18 mc - and the chassis (or the serial number?) is 101407.
