- The "old version" Silvertone 6014 is a model taken from Rider's Page 10-7 with a date April 15 from 1938. Then it has probably been produced already in 1937 - together with the following models on that plan: 4632A, 4633A, 6014, 6015, 6044, 6045, 6064, 6144, 6164, Chassis 101.505 or 101.505X. They use a storage battery for the tube heaters and two 45 volt batteries. The "new" model 6014 has chassis 132.40500 and is from SAMS Date 8-56!. This is a small AC-DC operated AM superhet.
