  • The Silvertone model 6046 resp. 6047 with chassis 101.512 are battery operated pre war radios without integrated record player. Otherwise they are the same. The model 6046 is the version for a dry battery for the heaters ("A") and model 4047 is for a 4-volt storage battery for the heaters. Both types use B and C dry batteries. Bias Cells 3 Volt. Otherwise they are the same.

    But the same model designation 6046 with chassis 528.34900 is an AC operated radio with 3 speed automatic record changer from the 1950s.
