  • Sears, Roebuck and Co. Improved Acme Receiving Transformer The primary and secondary coils are wound on hard fiber forms with green silk wire. The coil ends are of "Electrose" and the base is of hard wood, finished in mahogany. The primary tuning is accomplished by a sliding contact. The secondary has a ten-point switch which is connected to the sections of the coil. The switch has a large knob which is mounted in the center of the "Electrose" end. The instrument permits close tuning up to 2,500 meters. with a suitable antenna.
