  • The Sears Silvertone 3228 is a battery operated 8 transistor AM and SW receiver.  Has Qty(1) Elliptical PM 4" x 6" speaker and push-pull audio output stage.  Uses Qty(8) 1.5V "C" size batteries (Eveready 635).  Uses loopstick antenna for the AM band, and has telescoping whip-type antenna for the SW bands.  Cabinet is charcoal gray with silver color trim.
