  • The Sears Silvertone 42251 is a battery operated 9 transistor AM receiver.  AM band frequency tuning range is 530 - 1610kHz. Has Qty(1) Elliptical PM 4" x 6" speaker.  Uses Qty(6) 1.5V "D" size batteries.  Cabinet is rich top-grain cowhide with silver colored trim and grille. Has RF stage, separate oscillator stage and push-pull output stage.  Also has earphone jack which disconnects speaker for private listening.
