  • The Sears Silvertone 4783 is an AC operated 7 tube BC, Police and SW band receiver. Was available with either a 50-60 cycle power transformer or a 25 cycle power transformer.

    Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:

    Police Band (Band P)........1.76-6.3MHz
    SW Band (Band F)............5.95-18.5MHz

    This model uses chassis 101.502, which is the same chassis used in Sears Silvertone model 4684, thus the Riders schematic and alignment data also apply to this model.
