  • The KNSTAR JOC TG-66 pocket radio is offered in two colors, Gold and Black. The identical TG-77 model share the same chassis and it differs only the the case style at the dial area.

    Brief technical details

    PCB assembly reference: TGK-66 94HB T=1.5mm

    The radio is based on a unmarked DSP tuner chip. Likely it is the same as a Si4825-A10 DSP mono audio tuner (U2), as it uses identical pinout as seen on the PCB circuit. A J8/S9018 NPN transistor is used in the front-end BPF for SW band. AM(MW) band connects directly to the DSP AM input pins. FM BPF connects to the DSP FM input pin.

    MIX8002D audio ower amplifier (U1) drives the 4 Ohm speaker thru the earphones jack. When inserting stereo earphones, as the jack GND is not connected, the two earphones drivers are driven in series thru a 220R resistor to the output of the audio power amp IC.

    AXS4054 battery charger (U3) uses the USB-C port to charge the battery.
