  • This is a compact world receiver featuring FM (Stereo on headphones), MW, and nine SW bands, is based on the popular AKC6951(55) DSP Radio IC also seen on several Chinese radio brands like the V115.

The single layer main PCB marked as "Precison PS-D977A  2015.04.09" shows four integrated circuits and one transistor as active components. Transistor Q1 (J8 = S9018) is the FM/SW front-end; IC2 (AKC6951(55)) is the DSP Radio; IC1 (unmarked, under a blob) is the MCU; IC3 (24C02BN) is the serial EEPROM storing the configuration setup; IC4 (C53Y) is the DSP Reset Power ON. The speaker is a ML 8 Ohm 0.5W unit.
