First model of the 260 series. All models without the "Adjust-A-View" handle (doubles as a stand for horizontal operation) go here - regardless of their different shapes. This model and the 260 Series 2 don't have a series designation in the meter scale. This begins from 260 Series 2A.

Batteries: 2x Eveready #750 (3 V), 1x "C" type (1.5 V), soldered and accessible after dismantling the device.
